This is how Columbus fusses over craft beer.

Columbus Craft Beer Week showcases the talented breweries, beer bars, and restaurants of Columbus through nine days of beer-centric events at venues all across the city. The week's events include everything from food and beer pairings, beer dinners, limited edition or specialty beer releases, tap takeovers, meet the brewer opportunities, and educational sessions on topics from beer styles to home-brewing.

This week demonstrates Columbus' creativity at brewing and serving craft beer, how we gather around good brews, and our penchant for collaboration.

Ohio is fourth in the nation in craft beer productivity, and Columbus is the center of all that. And it's not quality over quantity: Columbus beers are winning fans for their creative names, innovative recipes, and use of interesting and high quality ingredients.

Fodor's Travel noticed that Columbus' population has "a decidedly local spirit." Beer isn't just a beverage in our city: it's a chance to get together. Our breweries, taprooms, beer bars, and restaurants provide spaces to build community. No one drinks alone here; there's always a seat saved for you at the bar.

Our collaborative spirit makes us innovative, and our beer is no exception. Columbus brewers share equipment, offer each advice, and brew side-by-side. Restaurants pair amazing meals with craft beers. Bars feature specialty beers and tap takeovers. To symbolize all of that, we've commissioned seven special collaborative brews just for Columbus Craft Beer Week!
